This Anti-Additive sauce is commonly used in Sichuan cusines. It usually combined with seafood such as fish or meat such as beef. The trait of this sauce is to bring the spice level up  with its rich red shining texture from it oil and a mild numbing sensation from it fagara powder. It is also an amazing sauce to use as base for such dishes like mapo tofu. It saves you alot of time cooking the base sauce for the dish. This sauce is five pungent spices vegetarian friendly.
